Men, I did the GoRuck (www.goruck.com) tough in Denver this last Friday night into Saturday morning. Keeping in mind I was never in the military, this was the most physically demanding and mental fortitude requiring things I have ever done. I did the Warrior Dash several years ago…it is an absolute joke compared to just the PT that was required for the GoRuck Tough. If you are looking for a brutal challenge, I highly recommend it.
If you are considering it, do take time to look at the various training plans. It is recommended to start training 12 weeks out, and depending on the extent you need to go from zero to hero I think that is pretty spot on.
